Background Fun!

Have you seen the Impression Obsession Mega Mount Stamps?? They are AMAZING!! You can use them by themselves or layer them to create awesome backgrounds. Here is an example.

For this card I used Cover-A-Card Swirls (CC002) and Cover-A-Card Think & Think (CC008).  Used Neenah Solar White paper, and Stamped the Swirls in VersaMark and embossed it with white embossing powder.  I then stamped the Think & Think over the Swirls in Memento's Bamboo Leaves, to create the background for this card.  The quote is from Verses Rubber Stamps   "Embrace a Memory" (SY0521-E).

Have a good day!

Holly Berry Medallions

I thought I would share with you a class I will be teaching in August at The Stamp Addict. I will be using stamps by Holly Berry House to create these beautiful cards with Medallions.  I am teaching the class on August 21st and August 25th.

These Medallions are very easy to make, just a little time consuming, but the out come is so beautiful it is worth it.  There are also many other ways to make these beautiful Medallions.  I am currently working on one out of Acetate. Hopefully it will be finished soon so I can show you.

Have a great day!

Thank You Card Set

I have been very busy creating new things recently, but I thought I would share an older project with you today!

I used the Our Craft Lounge stamp set "Spring Sketches" CRM071 for the flower on the front, then colored it with my Copic Markers : R37, R59, YR02, YR04. The "Thank you" is K066 "Classy Thanks" by Stampendous. I used the Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Swiss Dots on the orange paper on the front, and the pattern paper is Cosmo Crickets Chemistry:Forget Me Not. The flower stamped on the inside of the card and on the envelope is part of the CL251 "Daisy Love" set by Impression Obsession.

Hope you enjoyed!

Copic Markers!

Have you seen one of the hottest coloring items on the market right now? They are called Copic Markers. They come in a few different styles and almost 400 colors! They are not a new product but newer to the Stamping/Scrapbooking world. I fell in love with them the first time i used them, and now use them in most of my classes.

This is one of the cards I taught in my Dog class at The Stamp Addict in May. I love the way the colors blend, and you can keep adding or subtracting color until you get it exactly how you want it.

I am very excited to say that I will be getting Copic Certified, on July 11th! I wanted to do it in January but a few things came up that made it impossible for me. I hope I learn how to use the markers in new ways, and continue to improve my coloring skills.
