Storage Solution Sunday: Paper Paper Paper!

Happy Sunday,

I have a problem, I own too much paper. The hubby says I am not allowed to buy any paper (unless its for a specific project). I have always loved paper, and have the issue where its too pretty to use, so it just starts piling up. Below are the different ways I store my paper. I keep different types different ways, Haven't exactly found one good way to store it all.

My 8 1/2x11 paper is stored 3 ways. I have the Prismatic card stock that I tend to use the most is in a paper rack, i have a color chart hanging off the side that way I have easy reference sheets so I can always refer back if any of the colors are out.

I have a TON of card stock in colors that have been discontinued, this i keep in a separate box, that way if I am preparing for classes, or making invitations for someone I don't use this.

The 8 1/2 x 11 Shimmer paper and Patterned paper is stored in this file box I bought at staples. I don't use this paper as much as my plain card stock and I didn't have enough room in my paper rack.

Next time I will show you my 12x12 and scrap storage.

Aztecs Fight

Hello,

I am getting ready for a few craft fairs I will be selling at and have starting creating wreaths.  Not sure it was the smartest idea to start a new set of projects with only a week or so to get them done but I have always been known to try to do more than I really can.  Below is one I made with red and black tulle, the letters are some Basic Grey letters that I had in my stash from a few years ago.

Thanks for stopping by!

Storage Solution Sunday: Embossing Folders

Hello,

This week I want to show you how I store my Embossing Folders (Cuttlebug and Sizzix).

Embossing Folders are very thin them selves and don't need much help (they stack nicely).  What I have done is create samples of each one (for an index like I have for my Spellbinders that I showed you two weeks ago) I have them on a ring at my desk where i do my designing so I can flip thru and pick the one I want.  I then have the folders in a box (a plastic box, like the one my Spellbinders are in). Each Die I have taken out of the package and used my label marker to label with the name and item number.   I have the dies in the same order as I have the index samples that way I don't have to do a blind search each time.

Have a good week!
